got this as a jeep most people would consider already built...with d44 scout axles under it,a built clifford 6 cyl,and a bunch of other mods. as with most vehicles i own i soon got bored with it and decided to put 44" tires under it.then i decided i needed more axle to support that,so it is now sitting on a dana 60 front and 14 bolt rear axles. its not done yet,but it moves again...

well the old 6 cyl hasnt been too happy, and the beating it got at jeep beach kinda did it in..had nothing to do with the 5a trips and mudhole fun it endured afterwards im sure...i bought a 4.0 and have been installing it the last couple days.i will be installing a vortec v8 soon, but funds are too low to build the engine right now so a 6 will have to do.the 4.0 is running the carb and intake off the old engine, along with the hei distributor.working out the bugs now so i can do a test drive and see how it does.hoping for a ride in a couple days after i find a stock header so my intake lines up better.the longtube header i have is in the way of the intake so it has a vac leak right now.
